Meet Our Pastor
Gregory W. Shyne
Pastor Gregory W. Shyne was born on October 28, 1961, in Minden, LA, to Robert and Betty Shyne. He is the grandson of the late Rev. Dock and Annie Mae Bradford. He has been happily married for 35 years to First Lady Lisa Shyne, and to this union two children were born, Andrea and Brian…
At an early age, Pastor began signing. Along with singing came playing the bass guitar. One of his passions was traveling with his father and the singing group all over the state. His love of playing took him to Stamps, AR where he met his wife, Lisa.
After marriage, Greg and Lisa moved to Shreveport, LA. Greg began worshipping at New Elizabeth B. C. under the leadership of the late Dr. Danny R. Mitchell. Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, Greg began his quest to know more about God and the calling He had upon His life. He started at United Theological Seminary and Bible College in 2009. He earned his degree in 2013 and was named “Top Student of the Graduating class of 2013.” He was ordained to preach the gospel the same year.
This move also landed him a job at The Caddo Parish Court House. After a few years, he worked his way up to Administrative Assistant. He held this job until retirement in 2017, after serving the people of Caddo Parish for 32 years.
But there was no retirement. God had called Gregory to a new work – HIS work. And thus begun the journey of being called Founder/Pastor of United Outreach Church.
Pastor loves God, his family and his people. His hobbies includes hunting and fishing.
And now his most important message is “spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ!”
